Helped a friend move some furniture yesterday from his grandmother’s house in beautiful Humboldt, Tennessee. On the way back we witnessed a Uhaul trailer lose a tire coming down the Tennessee River Bridge. I guess he buys tires at Sears.

My last experience with a UHaul involved a breakdown (equipment, not nervous) at mile marker 132 to Memphis. What stunk is that the wrecker guy “sort of” fixed it, so I had to drive the rest of the way at 40mph.
That photo is amazing.

Something was obviously up with the uhaul, it had been fishtailing back and forth for miles, the driver didn’t seem to notice or care. I had the camera out ready to be “citizen photojournalist.”
Hmmmm…U-Haul: batteries not included, tires optional… and what about the poor guy who gets passed by the tire?
Very cool. Way to pay attention. I know photojournalists who wouldn’t have gotten that shot.
