A Residence for Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprises

Since the lot was addressing a quasi-corner conditon (the corner of a street and an alley) and a transition of typology, the front facing living room space took on a 45 degree relationship to the main street. This living space also became the apex of the roof, and as well, allowed me to address a social condition. I was planning on a 3 bedroom house, designed for a family with younger children. Education would be a very important issue to the inhabitants of the house, so I wanted to place a study area in a place of high importance. This became a loft in the double height living room.
