Presently during home football games, the site is used for a temporary boat landing for persons choosing to cruise in their boats from down river to the stadium. While not included in the program, the incorporation of the recreational boat docks located on the water level creates a solution to this problem. This is an activity and tradition that is deeply integrated within the culture of campus, and directly relates to the primary nature of the building as an athletic facility.
