Knoxville Downtown Museum

This site for this project was an infill condition on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. Behind the site was a large parking garage, so to keep the ability to use the site for passage to the garage, and and to encourage people to visit the museum by passing through the building, the main part of the structure was an exterior gallery that ran the length of the building.
