But they keep pulling me back in. The Godfather horse head prop pillow. (via Waxylinks.)

High-Definition Television Statistics
You'll buy one eventually, because it's better.

And I'm willing to believe it.

A few days late timing-wise
But a funny parody nonetheless.

Chenecnomics
Selling unwanted kitsch does not an economy make. Depending on eBay to drive you economy is like Chinese steel production during the Great Leap Forward. (via Wonkette.)

It's not that they really want Kerry...
They're picking anyone but Bush.

The Libeskind design wasn't my favorite
But this should be interesting nonetheless.

For undecided voters who can't make a commitment
I would buy one if it was reversible with Bush/Cheney '04 on the other side.

Snopes on Kerry
I think everyone agrees that Snopes is an authority of all things questionable. It's settled many an argument in the past. (via MeFI)

I'm going to donate to this.

"We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it." -Edward R. Murrow
An excellent summary of how the RNC has been rubbing me the wrong way.

At the office...
Today, we secretly replaced our coffee machine with Bongo Java brand coffee. Except they didn't tell anyone, just to see if anyone noticed.

Bob Dole is an honest American.
And Bob Dole would have been president if Bob Dole would have been allowed to be Bob Dole. And if Bob Dole would have run saying what Bob Dole actually believes rather than running because Bob Dole was next in line to run. (via Sparkwood & 21)

Kerry Campaigning in Nashville
Some may argue that it's not right for Kerry to be campaigning during the Republican Convention. He's speaking at the American Legion Convention, a traditional stop for political candidates of both parties. But don't blame Kerry, can he help that the Republicans postponed their convention to politicize 9/11? The Republican Convention this year started later than any convention since 1856.

Diebold Voting Systems
That's German for "The Bold."

Gannett's Double Standard
In case you were wondering about what security lapse allowed Michael Moore into the RNC last night, he'swriting an article for USAToday. To be fair, Ann Coulter did the same for the same newspaper at the DNC. Of course, they didn't print her articles. They also brought in Jonah Goldberg, and they did print his. Of course, the Moore article quoted above is under the heading "News." The Goldberg articles are under the heading "Editorial/Opinion."

Man, that's cool.
I sometimes feel guilty for abandoning the Mac around 1998. Of course, as cool as the new iMac is, I've spent the greater portion of my life trying to educate people that the monitor is not the computer. Dammit.

If I feel even one bullet hit me, I will rip your lungs out through your nostrils!
I thought he did a sufficient job tonight at the RNC, but I still think that Ron Silver's best performance as himself was in "Heat Vision and Jack."
